Audience and Distribution:
Our audience primarily consists of men, both in and out of high school/college, most of our readers are between 16 and 35, unmarried, although we welcome and encourage content for guys outside these demographics. Christian Guys seeks to meet the needs of guys – city guys and “country boys”, working and those in college, teen, single and married men – guys with alternative lifestyles who are seeking reconciliation with their Christian walk.
Content:
- Christian Guys is looking for non-fiction articles that target guys that are making the transition from being a teen to becoming a Christian Man, and that grow him both as a man and as a Christian. We are looking for humorous, inspirational or thought-provoking personal stories and well-researched practical information that appeals to a wide variety of guys and will inform guys on subjects relevant to their lives.
- All submissions should be written from a Biblical, but not doctrinal, perspective. We are looking for ideas that will challenge and help guys regardless of where they are in their spiritual walk. We would encourage you to even submit devotionals.
- All submissions should average approx. 500 words.
- Christian Guys does not publish or promote single opinions on controversial subjects that divide our readers. These include doctrinal, political and social subjects, While the decisions that you have made personally may come up in your submission, do not assume that all readers share your same point of view.
Submitting an article:
- If accepted, stories will be edited by Christian Guys Ministries to fit the language, flow and size of the media to which they are published.
- Please submit your article via the christianguys.org website, if you don’t not have an account please create one; please keep a copy of your article for yourself as well.
- Even though your online account has basic information please include your name, address, phone and email at the bottom of your article. This is the information that we will use for payment should we use your article, without it we will not be able to consider your submission
- All submissions are received on speculation. A contract is sent after the submission has been accepted and begins the publishing process, although we cannot guarantee publication. The writer receives a byline and bio (submitted by the author) on each article, along with payment upon publication.
