Integrity is wholeness: the growing alignment of worship, desire, speech, promises, relationships, work, and private conduct under the lordship of Jesus.
It is not sinless perfection or reputation management. A man of integrity tells the truth about failure, repents, makes restitution where appropriate, and returns to faithful obedience.

Psalm 15 joins worship with conduct: walking blamelessly, speaking truth, refusing slander, keeping promises, and rejecting exploitation.
Private choices matter because God sees the heart and because hidden habits eventually shape public life.

Integrity grows through grace-filled honesty
Concealing sin may protect an image for a time, but confession and forsaking open the way to mercy. Gospel honesty is stronger than defensive image management.
Accountability is useful when it helps us tell the truth and obey; it becomes unhealthy when it creates control, fear, or dependence.

Repair what dishonesty has damaged
Repentance may require correcting a false statement, returning what was taken, keeping a neglected promise, or accepting consequences.
Not every disclosure belongs with every person. Seek pastoral wisdom when truth intersects with safety, confidentiality, employment, abuse, or legal responsibility.
